Stock Controller – Retail Depot

About the role
We are seeking a Stock Controller to join the Retail department of M‑KOPA. The role is the operational heartbeat of the depot, ensuring that stock allocation, reconciliation and returns are accurate and that inventory supports our credit‑based customer promises.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, allocate and reconcile stock for sales, conducting regular audits and overseeing returns to the warehouse.
- Maintain the depot to high physical standards and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Troubleshoot product issues, coordinate in‑warranty repairs and handle customer interactions efficiently.
- Produce daily stock status reports that provide transparency for retail operations.
Required profile
- Demonstrable experience in stock management or a customer‑facing operations role, preferably in retail or logistics.
- College diploma or degree in a relevant field with strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to accuracy and ability to work in a fast‑moving environment.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysing stock data and identifying discrepancies.
