Technical Support Representative – IT Support

About the role

The Technical Support Representative (TSR) provides advanced technical assistance to employees and Church operations, ensuring reliable technology services across the organization. This full‑time, onsite role is essential for maintaining hardware, software, and communication tools that enable staff to perform their duties effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver advanced support for computers, laptops, mobile devices, printers, audiovisual and videoconferencing equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network connectivity, and end‑user application issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade technology equipment and software.
• Respond to service requests and incidents while meeting established service standards.
• Support deployment of new technologies, upgrades, and project rollouts.
• Maintain accurate documentation of technical issues, configurations, and solutions.
• Assist with technology asset management and inventory tracking.
• Provide user training and guidance on technology tools and best practices.
• Collaborate with regional and global technology teams to resolve complex issues.
• Participate in after‑hours support rotations and occasional travel within the assigned area.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional technical support experience.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel when required.
