Terminal Operations Specialist – Port & Terminal

About the role

We are looking for a Terminal Operations Specialist to manage the flow of shipping containers at our port facility. The role ensures smooth coordination between carriers, customs agents and haulage vendors, guaranteeing that containers are released, declared and dispatched efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Track the full arrival progress of shipping containers from vessel arrival to departure.
• Operate the ICUMS customs system, coordinate cargo release with shipping lines, and monitor real‑time declarations and container status.
• Maintain regular communication with carriers, customs clearing agents and transport haulage vendors.
• Follow up on all procedures until containers have fully departed the port.
• Complete additional terminal‑operation tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least one year of relevant experience in terminal operations, customs liaison or shipping line coordination.
• Strong logical thinking and excellent external communication and liaison abilities.
• Willingness to work overtime according to business demands.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience operating the ICUMS customs system.
