Tipper Truck Driver

About the role

We are seeking experienced Tipper Truck Drivers to join our team in Tema. The role involves safely operating tipper trucks to transport sand, gravel and other construction aggregates between sites, ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
• Load, transport and unload bulk materials while adhering to weight and balance limits.
• Follow scheduled routes, delivery timelines and DOT‑related regulations.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery records and communicate with dispatch and site supervisors.
• Perform basic truck maintenance checks such as monitoring fluids, tires and brakes.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A (or equivalent heavy‑duty truck licence).
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and road safety standards.
• Experience operating tipper trucks in construction, mining or logistics environments.
• Reliability, punctuality and ability to work extended hours or shifts as needed.

Required skills

• Safe loading and unloading of bulk materials.
• Basic truck maintenance and inspection procedures.
• Accurate record‑keeping and communication with dispatch.
