About the role
The Villa Monticello Boutique Hotel is looking for enthusiastic waitstaff to join its restaurant team. Candidates should be motivated, courteous and able to deliver high-quality service to guests in a luxury setting.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests and present menus.
- Set up tables with linens, silverware and glassware.
- Take food and beverage orders and serve them promptly.
- Answer guest questions about menu items and make recommendations.
- Promote restaurant specials and upsell where appropriate.
- Clear tables, collect dishes and glasses, and coordinate with the kitchen for cleaning.
- Maintain a clean and tidy dining area throughout service.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar waitstaff role.
- SSSCE certificate holder.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Age between 18 and 25 years.
- Well-groomed, courteous and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Team-player attitude with a positive outlook.
