Warehouse Manager

About the role

The Warehouse Manager will lead the daily operations of the finished‑goods warehouse in Takoradi, ensuring smooth receiving, shipping, inventory control and coordination with multiple internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse activities, including receipt, storage, order picking, packing and dispatch.
• Conduct daily 6S inspections and provide training, guidance and performance assessments to warehouse staff.
• Coordinate with forklift operators, receiving, shipping, planning and data teams to meet production schedules.
• Maintain communication with import/export, personnel, security, production workshops, transportation and planning departments.
• Analyse operational abnormalities, develop corrective actions and implement solutions in collaboration with senior management.
• Manage shift work, including 12‑hour day/night rotations, to ensure continuous warehouse coverage.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale warehouse operations in a factory or industrial setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team of at least 50 employees and motivate frontline staff.
• Strong knowledge of factory logistics, inventory management, and shipping processes.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including night work, with a 12‑hour daily schedule.
• Excellent planning skills to allocate resources such as personnel, vehicles and equipment across multiple storage areas.
• Familiarity with standard office software for reporting and documentation.
