Warehouse Officer

About the role

Ecom Agrotrade, a global commodity merchant, is looking for a motivated Warehouse Officer to manage stock, support audits and ensure safe, efficient warehouse operations in Akim Oda, Ghana. The role combines inventory control, data reporting and health‑and‑safety supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and record stocks and inputs such as PPE, jute sacks and agro‑inputs.
• Maintain accurate inventory data and prepare annual stock counts.
• Distribute stocks to districts and businesses after approval.
• Enter and manage data for the inventory team, including Empower system entries.
• Produce daily and weekly inventory reports for the Business Head and AGMs.
• Ensure warehouse safety, cleanliness and security, and provide first‑aid guidance.
• Prepare for and support internal and external audits.
• Process casual‑worker payments and imprest requests using the company system.
• Undertake any additional tasks required for smooth warehouse management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Logistics Management, Purchasing & Supply, Finance/Accounting or Business Management.
• 2–5 years of experience in a similar warehouse or inventory role.
• Ability to work extra hours and weekends when needed.
• Willingness to live and work in the field or assigned district.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong data‑entry capabilities.
• Practical knowledge of SAP.
