Warehouse Officer - Kumasi

About the role

A warehouse officer position in Kumasi is open, focused on keeping warehouse operations accurate, safe and efficient. The officer works under the warehouse manager's instructions and takes responsibility for stock accuracy, dispatch and receiving errors.

Key responsibilities

• Follow warehouse SOPs strictly and ensure FEFO compliance on outbound movements
• Keep stock accurate at item level and verify stock cards maintained by the stock handler
• Supervise loading and offloading, and take ownership of dispatch and receiving errors
• Check documents for inbound and outbound movements and keep track of customer stock returns
• Ensure goods are stored by expiry, separate damaged and expired stock from good stock, and segregate returned goods by expiry and sale-ability
• Take responsibility for accurate stacking and retrieval, and minimise damage and pilferage during manual handling and forklift use
• Use random re-stacking and relocation to optimise storage space
• Assist the warehouse manager with audits and visits, maintain cleanliness and contribute to process-improvement initiatives

Required profile

• HND with relevant work experience
• 3 to 5 years of experience
• Professional, problem-sensitive, team player with high integrity
• Time management, quality consciousness, customer service orientation
