Wash Innovations and Partnerships Specialist

About the role

The WASH Innovations and Partnerships Specialist will work closely with the WASH Associate Director to identify, pilot and scale innovative water, sanitation and hygiene solutions across Ghana. Based at the Head Office in Accra, the role combines strategic engagement with national stakeholders, partnership development and logistical support for high‑level visits.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess new WASH initiatives and innovations in collaboration with the Associate Director.
• Coordinate the scaling‑up of successful models from the Ahafo Regional Integrated WASH Project to other World Vision Ghana intervention areas.
• Represent World Vision Ghana in national WASH forums, government and donor meetings, and pursue funding, learning and policy‑influence opportunities.
• Develop concept papers, human‑interest stories and proposals to mobilise additional resources.
• Organise logistics for WASH program visitors and senior leadership delegations to government and partner offices.
• Lead thought‑leadership activities such as executive breakfast conversations and the School Sanitation Solutions Challenge.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years (96 months) of relevant experience in WASH, innovation management or partnership development.
• Senior‑level professional with a proven track record of scaling projects in the humanitarian or development sector.
• Strong understanding of Ghana’s national WASH policies, donor landscape and government structures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
