Web Developer – Shopify & AI Automation

About the role

Nova Niche Ghana Limited is expanding its digital footprint and needs a Web Developer to build, customise and maintain its ecommerce platforms and internal tools. You will work on Shopify stores, automate product catalog workflows and integrate AI‑driven content generation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Shopify ecommerce stores, including custom theme creation with Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Integrate third‑party apps and services, optimise site performance, ensure responsive design and apply on‑page SEO best practices.
• Build and automate product catalog pipelines, handling bulk data uploads and AI‑generated imagery and copy.
• Set up AI workflows using text models (Claude, GPT, Gemini) and image models (Gemini, Imagen), evaluate outputs and publish content.
• Develop internal web tools and dashboards, connect SaaS platforms (Shopify, Asana, Google Workspace) via RESTful APIs and automate repetitive tasks.
• Write clean, well‑documented code, participate in code reviews and manage version control with Git.

Required profile

• Relevant certification or degree in web development, software engineering or a comparable technical field (bootcamp, HND, degree, etc.).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating Shopify/Liquid projects or similar web development work.
• Minimum of 1 month of professional experience in web development or related internships.

What we offer

• Salary range GHS 2,500 – 3,500 per month, commensurate with experience.
