Bilingual Sales Officer – English & French (Renewable Energy)

About the role
The client, a leading renewable energy solutions provider, is looking for a driven Bilingual Sales Officer to expand its footprint across French‑speaking West and Central Africa. You will promote solar, hybrid and photovoltaic technologies to commercial, industrial and public‑sector customers while driving revenue growth.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, prospect and convert new business opportunities across Francophone Africa.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing and post‑sales follow‑up.
- Conduct market segmentation, customer profiling and territory mapping to support strategic growth.
- Deliver persuasive sales pitches, product demonstrations and technical‑commercial presentations.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key accounts, distributors, EPCs, government agencies and corporate buyers.
- Provide professional support on product selection, system design options and energy‑cost optimisation.
- Monitor competitor activities, emerging opportunities and industry trends; report weekly and monthly to the Country Manager.
- Collaborate with engineering, logistics, customer service and finance teams to ensure seamless order execution.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, Marketing or a related field.
- 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in renewable energy, power solutions or technical B2B industries.
- Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in multi‑country environments.
- Strong network within Francophone West & Central African markets is an advantage.
