About the role

Scania is looking for a Business Consultant to promote and sell its range of products and services, including new and used vehicles, contracted services, financial solutions, fleet management and spare parts. The role focuses on driving profitable growth through new business development and strong customer relationships within an assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships through regular calls and visits.
  • Prospect new customers, develop relationships and act as the first point of contact for queries and complaints.
  • Interview customers using a multi‑level sales script to clarify needs and propose suitable solutions.
  • Identify sales opportunities, generate leads from referrals and recommendations.
  • Present product and service propositions, explain benefits and close sales at standard terms.
  • Enter accurate data into the CRM system after each customer interaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a positive brand image and meet customer expectations.
  • Follow company policies, regulatory codes and mandatory procedures to ensure compliance.

Required profile

  • Good general education with solid knowledge of Scania products and market.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in solution or automotive sales.
  • Ability to meet personal sales targets and develop both new and existing accounts.
  • Self‑motivated, customer‑focused and capable of handling complex sales deals.
