Cook Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Cook Assistant to join our kitchen team at Keda Ghana Ceramics Company Limited. The role supports daily food preparation, maintains cleanliness, and ensures hygiene standards are met in a fast‑paced catering environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking menu items under the supervision of senior kitchen staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining area and storage spaces.
• Wash, dry and store utensils, equipment and kitchenware.
• Follow food safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
• Support the catering team during peak periods and special events.

Required profile

• JHS or SHS certificate.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Basic understanding of English.
• Strong awareness of hygiene and safety standards.

Required skills

• Food preparation.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
