Internal Auditor – Hospitality

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join our hospitality team in Takoradi. The role involves evaluating internal controls, risk management and governance processes to ensure efficient, effective and compliant hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report internal audits covering financial, operational and compliance areas.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management and governance frameworks.
• Develop audit procedures and tools aligned with hotel policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to management.
• Review financial statements, accounting records and related data for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with management to implement corrective actions and monitor their progress.
• Stay informed on industry trends, best practices and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional certification such as ACCA or ICAG is an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in internal auditing, preferably within the hospitality sector.
• Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards, risk management and governance processes.
