Pastry Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Pastry Assistant to join our bakery team in Accra. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will support the creation of high‑quality baked goods while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with baking and cooking tasks, following recipes and standard procedures.
• Prepare and measure ingredients for pastries, breads and other baked products.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen and workstations.
• Support the creative presentation and decoration of pastries.
• Collaborate with the bakery team to ensure timely production and consistent quality.

Required profile

• Proficiency in bakery and baking techniques.
• Experience in cooking and using various baking methods.
• Knowledge of food hygiene standards and best practices.
• Strong creativity for pastry decoration and presentation.
• Attention to detail, good time‑management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage.
