Regional Sales Manager – East & North Africa

About the role

IDS GeoRadar is seeking a senior Regional Sales Manager to drive growth across East and North Africa. You will lead the sales cycle for the Mine Monitoring portfolio, build long‑term customer relationships, and work closely with the Regional Sales Director to shape and execute the regional strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales plans for the Mine Monitoring product portfolio, targeting mining customers in the region.
• Manage leads through to closure, using Salesforce to track the pipeline and ensure financial targets are met.
• Present and demonstrate product benefits, negotiate contracts, and coordinate installation and commissioning milestones.
• Collaborate with Product Management to relay market feedback and influence product development.
• Represent Hexagon Mine Monitoring at industry events, trade shows, and relevant associations.
• Prepare regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Travel frequently (40‑60%) within the region and undertake occasional international trips.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology or a related discipline (post‑graduate advantageous).
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the mining industry, with a proven track record of new‑business acquisition.
• Strong commercial acumen in geotechnical monitoring, software/technology or heavy‑machinery sectors.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage cross‑functional teams and communicate fluently in English and French.

Required skills

• Advanced experience with Salesforce for pipeline and opportunity management.
• Technical knowledge of Mining Engineering principles and applications.
