Security Supervisor

About the role

The leading pharmaceutical company in Ghana is seeking a hands‑on Security Supervisor to be based at its Accra offices. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and critical assets across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive security measures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Control and monitor access to restricted areas such as cold rooms, storage and inventory zones, keeping all keys confidential.
• Conduct and supervise searches of vehicles, bags, containers and tools to prevent unlawful removal of company property.
• Assist in implementing security protocols for all facilities and lead emergency evacuations.
• Report all incidents, crimes (actual, suspected or attempted) promptly to the Head of Security.
• Seize prohibited items, detain perpetrators when necessary, and document evidence.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• High school qualification or equivalent.
• Formal security training certification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar security supervisory role.
