Regional Manager – Sales

About the role

M‑KOPA is seeking a Regional Manager – Sales to own and grow its Ghana corridor covering Bono, Bono East, Ahafo and the Northern Regions. You will combine field leadership, strategic planning and team development to unlock financial access for everyday earners across these dynamic, underserved markets.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end regional performance, including sales delivery, productivity and sustainable growth.
• Lead a team of 12 Sales Executives and manage 21 territories, setting clear strategic direction for each cluster.
• Coach Field Sales Managers and Deputy Regional Managers, fostering leadership and agent development.
• Use data‑led insights to reallocate territories, optimise resource deployment and plan succession.
• Maintain a strong on‑site presence across Sunyani, Tamale and surrounding territories to understand ground realities.
• Report directly to the Head of Sales, Ghana, and provide regular performance updates.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading multi‑regional sales teams, preferably in emerging markets.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate performance data into actionable plans.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the assigned corridor and work fully on‑site.
• Commitment to financial inclusion and a track record of scaling sales operations.
