About the role

The Graduate School seeks an experienced academic leader to serve as Associate Dean. This senior position will guide the strategic direction of doctoral programmes and ensure the highest standards of teaching, research, and administration.

Key responsibilities

• Chair the Doctoral Programmes and oversee their academic quality.
• Provide strategic leadership for the Graduate School, including curriculum development and policy implementation.
• Supervise and mentor faculty members involved in graduate teaching and research.
• Represent the Graduate School in university committees and external academic forums.

Required profile

• PhD holder with a strong record of scholarly achievement.
• Minimum three years of post‑qualification teaching experience at the tertiary level.
• At least two years in an academic leadership role, qualifying for senior lecturer appointment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage doctoral programmes and lead academic teams.
