Commercial Lead – Photography, Videography & Podcast

About the role

The Commercial Lead will drive growth and monetisation of Ananse Studios’ photography, videography and podcast production hub in Accra. Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for generating B2B and retail revenue, building strategic partnerships, and positioning the studio as the premier content‑creation destination for brands, SMEs, agencies and creators.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of paying clients for studio services.
• Promote Ananse Studios as the leading content‑production hub in Ghana through targeted campaigns.
• Identify and launch new monetisation streams such as studio hire, content packages, styling services and partnerships.
• Build and nurture relationships with brands, fashion houses, agencies, creators and SMEs.
• Refine the studio’s value proposition and communicate it to the market.
• Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings and paid shoots.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with a revenue‑first mindset.
• Drive ecommerce‑focused shoots for SMEs and sell services directly to individual clients and creative professionals.

Required profile

• Commercially minded professional with proven experience in sales, partnerships and creative business development.
• Track record of generating B2B and retail revenue in a media or creative services environment.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to position services competitively.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication abilities.
