Compliance Officer – Remote (Ghana)

About the role

The company is seeking a Compliance Officer to oversee and ensure adherence to Ghanaian regulations and online gaming licensing requirements. This remote position supports the online gaming/iGaming business by managing compliance, AML, and KYC processes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee compliance with Ghana local regulations and online gaming licensing requirements.
• Liaise with regulators, legal advisors, and government authorities on compliance matters.
• Develop, implement, and monitor AML and KYC policies and procedures.
• Conduct compliance reviews, risk assessments, and internal investigations as needed.
• Monitor regulatory updates and advise management on compliance risks.
• Support licensing applications, renewals, and ongoing regulatory reporting.
• Provide compliance guidance to internal teams and ensure daily operations meet legal standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles within gaming, fintech, or related sectors.
• Familiarity with Ghana online gaming and betting regulations and licensing.
• Strong knowledge of AML, KYC, and regulatory compliance practices.
• Experience working with local regulatory authorities (preferred).
• Legal background or qualified lawyer is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and handle sensitive compliance matters professionally.
