About the role
The Credit Control & Collections Officer ensures revenue stability by driving timely client payments while delivering a professional, customer‑centric experience throughout the property purchase lifecycle. This role bridges Sales and Finance, supporting cash‑flow performance and safeguarding the company’s financial health.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor client payment schedules and proactively follow up on overdue balances.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date sales and collections records.
- Liaise with Finance to reconcile payments and update client accounts.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales and collections performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with company sales and credit control policies.
- Escalate high‑risk or delinquent accounts to senior management as needed.
Required profile
- HND or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in collections, debt recovery or credit control.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
