Fiber Technician / Splicer

About the role

This full-time, on-site position at BTS Telecom Ltd in Accra focuses on installing, maintaining and troubleshooting the company’s fiber network infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Install, splice and provision fiber optic cables.
• Perform cable routing, termination and testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to optics, cabling and network connectivity.
• Maintain documentation of installations and repairs.
• Support day-to-day network operations and upgrades.

Required profile

• Ability to work on-site full-time.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in the telecom industry is a plus.
• Relevant certifications in fiber optics or related fields.
