Senior Specialist, Digital Analytics & Reporting

About the role

The Senior Specialist, Digital Analytics & Reporting will provide advanced analytics insights and high‑quality reporting to support strategic decision‑making, performance optimisation, and value creation across MTN’s digital products and platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver deep‑dive analysis on user behaviour, engagement, retention, conversion funnels and transaction performance to uncover growth and revenue opportunities.
• Develop, automate and maintain executive‑level dashboards and commercial performance reports covering digital KPIs, revenue drivers, subscriber growth, customer lifetime value and campaign effectiveness.
• Lead financial reporting for the Digital Division, including monthly business reviews, performance forecasting and variance analysis against budgets.
• Drive the development of annual business plans, digital revenue targets, financial projections and OPEX/CAPEX budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with IT Business Intelligence, Finance, Marketing and Product teams to guarantee data accuracy, consistency and integrity across all reporting.
• Establish reporting standards, definitions and best practices, and continuously evaluate analytics tools and methodologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital analytics, performance management and financial reporting within a telecom or technology environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills to present insights to senior stakeholders.
