Accounts Receivable Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our Finance Department in Accra. In this position you will provide analytical support to the AR team, helping drive data‑driven decisions and improve cash flow performance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accurate financial analyses and reports, highlighting variances, trends, risks and opportunities.
• Identify inefficiencies in AR processes and recommend practical improvements.
• Resolve moderately complex receivable and credit issues to reduce outstanding balances.
• Maintain strong relationships with external customers by addressing queries promptly.
• Collaborate with internal finance and cross‑functional teams to ensure process alignment.
• Support the integrity of financial reporting with reliable performance data.
• Participate in special projects, providing analytical insight and solutions.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, including payment processing, reconciliations, month‑end close and journal entries.
• Ability to analyse financial data, identify trends and root causes, and propose improvements.
• Excellent attention to detail and time‑management skills to meet strict deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• College degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience.
