Authorised Dealing Officer – Capital Markets Trading

About the role

The Authorised Dealing Officer will operate on Bullion Securities Limited’s trading desk, executing buy and sell orders across equities, government securities, corporate bonds and commodities. The role demands a strong grasp of Ghana’s capital markets, regulatory compliance, and the ability to translate market intelligence into profitable trading ideas for institutional clients.

Key responsibilities

• Execute client orders for equities, government securities, corporate bonds and commodities while ensuring best‑execution practices.
• Maintain strict compliance with SEC Ghana regulations, GSE trading rules and AML protocols.
• Provide real‑time market quotes, trade confirmations and intelligence to clients.
• Build and sustain relationships with regulators, brokerage firms, portfolio managers and prospective investors.
• Identify and engage prospective clients to grow the firm’s client base.
• Monitor macro‑economic trends, intra‑day exposure, margin requirements and settlement risks.
• Ensure timely settlement of all trades and keep accurate order logs for regulatory audits.
• Analyse market trends, company announcements and economic data to advise internal teams and clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Registered Securities Dealer with the Ghana Stock Exchange.
• Minimum three years of experience on a trading floor or dealing desk at a licensed brokerage, investment bank or asset‑management firm in Ghana.
• Successful completion of GISI, GSE certification courses or equivalent SEC/GSE mandated training.
• Strong knowledge of Ghana’s regulatory framework and macro‑economic policy impacts.
