Broker Manager – Insurance Brokerage

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Broker Manager to lead our brokerage team in Accra. The role involves overseeing relationships with insurance carriers and independent agents while driving business growth and ensuring compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to increase brokerage revenue and market share.
• Organise training programmes and continuous development for agents.
• Monitor performance metrics, analyse results and report to senior management.
• Maintain compliance with Ghanaian insurance regulations and industry standards.
• Build and manage client portfolios, addressing their insurance needs professionally.
• Liaise with carriers, agents and clients to foster strong partnerships.

Required profile

• Proven experience in broker management or a similar insurance‑industry role.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Analytical and strategic thinking for business development.
• Knowledge of local insurance regulations and standards in Ghana.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance or related field.
