About the role
We are seeking a reliable Budget Analyst to support effective budget planning and spending. You will review budget proposals, analyze data, and ensure proper allocation of funding while complying with legal regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Review budget proposals and funding requests
- Conduct cost‑benefit and other analyses
- Submit budget recommendations for approval or rejection
- Explain and defend recommendations to management and stakeholders
- Collaborate with managers to develop the final consolidated budget
- Ensure the organization’s budget adheres to legal regulations
- Oversee expenditure and identify spending trends
- Forecast future budget needs
- Suggest improvements to increase profits, such as spending cuts
- Prepare periodic and special reports
Required profile
- Strong mathematical mindset and critical thinking ability
- Knowledge of legal regulations related to budgeting
- Excellent attention to detail, writing, and communication skills
