Commercial Analyst

About the role

Expro is seeking a Commercial Analyst to support its Europe and Sub‑Sahara Region business unit. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will manage quotations, forecast project profitability and ensure compliance with commercial and ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, acknowledge and log all Request for Quotations (RFQs) in Salesforce.com and the Bid Enquiry Log.
• Issue commercial quotations via the CPQ system and ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare Bid Evaluation Reports (BER) and project P&L forecasts to support pricing decisions.
• Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Tax, Supply Chain and other internal teams to gather information for RFQs.
• Maintain the quotation archive, generate monthly business development reports and supervise month‑end OBL analysis.
• Conduct revenue assurance, BER audits and present monthly pricing uplift results.
• Guide and supervise the Commercial Analyst handling quotations.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification in Finance, Economics or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in commercial proposal roles, preferably within the oil & gas industry.
• Understanding of commercial risk management and ethical compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce.com.
• Experience using CPQ systems.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with XAIT Porter systems (advantageous).
