Geography Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Geography Teacher to join our bilingual international school in East Legon, Greater Accra Region. This full‑time, on‑site position involves delivering engaging geography lessons and inspiring students to explore the world.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Deliver dynamic geography instruction to diverse student groups.
• Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects.
• Prepare and organize teaching materials and resources.
• Maintain a positive, motivating classroom environment.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and participate in school activities.

Required profile

• Formal teaching qualification with proven experience in education.
• Strong knowledge of geography and related subject matter.
• Experience teaching at Cambridge level is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Geography, or a related field preferred.
• Passion for fostering curiosity about the world.

Required skills

• Lesson planning and curriculum development.
