About the role
We are seeking a Growth & Commercial Partner to help turn our sister brand’s African cinema platform into a strong cultural and commercial brand. This partnership focuses on film discovery, community building, and revenue generation.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and acquire suitable films for the platform.
- Build and nurture an active community of movie lovers and reviewers.
- Create and manage a distinctive social media presence and campaigns.
- Develop relationships with filmmakers, studios, festivals and entertainment partners.
- Drive participation in reviews, movie discovery and awards.
- Identify sponsorships, partnerships and other monetisation opportunities.
Required profile
- Passionate movie enthusiast with strong cultural, content and community instincts.
- Experience or interest in film, entertainment, media, marketing, partnerships or community building.
- Initiative, execution ability and willingness to build the brand from an early stage.
