Marketing Officer

About the role

The Marketing Officer will support planning and execution of marketing activities aimed at farmers, agro‑dealers and the general public, strengthening brand visibility and customer engagement for a leading agro‑processing company.

Key responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of marketing strategies targeting farmers and agro‑dealers.
• Coordinate marketing campaigns, promotional activities and engagement initiatives.
• Manage social media platforms and create content for target audiences.
• Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across owned channels and Digital PR platforms.
• Monitor performance, prepare content calendars and report on activities.
• Organise farm visits, workshops, training sessions and product demonstrations.
• Maintain databases of farmers and agro‑dealers and assist with budget tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in agriculture, FMCG or similar sectors.
• Strong attention to detail, proactive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Team spirit, planning & organisation and risk awareness.

Required skills

• Digital marketing and social media management.
• Event coordination and field‑based customer engagement.
• Camera usage for content creation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic design tools such as Canva.
