Healthcare Product Manager – Ghana

About the role

BagginsHQ is looking for an experienced, commercially driven Product Manager to own the market growth, customer acquisition and subscription performance of Baggins Health, a cloud‑based hospital information system serving hospitals, clinics and other healthcare organisations in Ghana.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and acquire healthcare institutions that need hospital management software.
• Develop and execute product growth and customer acquisition strategies for the assigned market.
• Promote Baggins Health through industry networks, associations and strategic partnerships.
• Present and demonstrate the platform’s EMR, patient management, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, inpatient care and financial modules.
• Convert prospects and trial users into paying subscribers and manage renewal relationships.
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, engagements, demonstrations and verified revenue.
• Gather customer feedback and recommend product improvements.

Required profile

• Professional experience in healthcare administration, hospital operations or health‑technology sectors.
• Strong understanding of hospital and clinic workflows, patient administration and clinical processes.
• Proven track record in business development, institutional client acquisition or software subscription growth.
• Established relationships within the healthcare industry or ability to build them independently.
• Knowledge of healthcare data privacy, patient confidentiality and procurement requirements.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Electronic Health Records (EHR) platforms.
• Ability to conduct product presentations and negotiations with senior healthcare decision‑makers.
