Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

The Housekeeping Attendant ensures that all public and private areas of the property are kept immaculate, hygienic, and welcoming for guests and residents. This hands‑on position requires meticulous attention to detail, consistent performance, and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain lobby, reception, corridors, and common areas, including gyms, pools, and lounges.
• Perform daily cleaning of assigned residential units where applicable.
• Follow company cleaning procedures to eliminate visible dirt, dust, stains, and odors.
• Pay special attention to glass surfaces, corners, edges, and high‑touch points such as handles, switches, and railings.
• Report any damage, defects, or maintenance issues observed during cleaning.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment correctly, avoiding waste and ensuring tools are stored safely.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines, handling chemicals as instructed and maintaining a safe work environment.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in housekeeping or cleaning within a hotel, residential, or commercial setting.
• Basic understanding of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual cleaning tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently following supervisor instructions.
• Basic English communication skills are an advantage.
