About the role
The University seeks a qualified Librarian to manage its academic library in Accra. The role involves overseeing library services, supporting students and faculty, and ensuring the collection meets the institution's research and teaching needs.
Key responsibilities
- Manage acquisition, cataloguing, and maintenance of library resources.
- Provide reference and research assistance to students and staff.
- Develop and implement library policies and procedures.
- Supervise library staff and coordinate training activities.
- Promote information literacy programs and support curriculum development.
Required profile
- Master's degree in Library Science, Librarianship, Information Science or Management.
- Relevant experience in an academic library environment.
- Strong understanding of library operations and academic support services.
