About the role
The Golden Tulip Kumasi City hotel is seeking a proactive Maintenance Storekeeper/Coordinator to manage its inventory of maintenance spare parts and support the engineering team. This full‑time, onsite position ensures that all necessary materials are available, properly stored, and efficiently distributed across the property.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance spare parts, tools, and consumables.
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, and issue of items to the engineering and maintenance teams.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms.
- Prepare purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules.
- Utilise Microsoft Office applications to generate reports and maintain inventory databases.
Required profile
- 2‑3 years of experience in a similar storekeeping role within the hotel industry.
- B.Sc. or HND in Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field with a storekeeping focus.
- Additional qualification from an institute of purchasing and supply is an advantage.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
