Marketing and Advertising Officer

About the role

The Marketing and Advertising Officer will lead the development and execution of the company's annual marketing strategy, strengthen brand visibility, and drive business growth through effective campaigns and client engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual marketing strategy and work plan.
• Identify and pursue new marketing opportunities to support business growth.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.
• Support the development and marketing of new products and services.
• Prepare and coordinate marketing campaigns across relevant platforms.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives using agreed performance indicators.
• Support proposal development and business pitches in collaboration with Business Development and Communications teams.
• Develop and implement brand strategies that strengthen Stratcomm Africa's corporate identity.
• Ensure consistency in the application of the company's brand across all communication materials.
• Lead branding initiatives for both the company and client assignments.
• Monitor brand performance and recommend improvements.
• Liaise with clients to identify advertising requirements and develop appropriate campaign solutions.
• Plan, execute, and evaluate advertising campaigns, coordinating internal teams and external service providers.
• Prepare advertising briefs, campaign reports, and performance evaluations.
• Manage advertising budgets and monitor campaign expenditure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification in Marketing or Advertising (e.g., Chartered Institute of Marketing).
