Marketing and Media Officer

About the role

MGA Consulting Ghana Ltd is looking for a creative Marketing and Media Officer to support the Growth Desk’s strategic plan by producing, publishing and distributing multimedia content. The role works closely with the Head of Marketing and the Growth Desk Producer to maintain a weekly publication rhythm.

Key responsibilities

• Operate cameras and audio equipment during studio recordings and support technical preparation.
• Edit flagship interviews and produce long‑form and short‑form clips, graphics and visual assets using brand templates.
• Publish episodes with full metadata, thumbnails and transcripts across YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and audio platforms, and manage the fortnightly newsletter.
• Monitor audience comments for 72 hours, respond and escalate issues, and track engagement metrics.
• Maintain content administration, quality control, file naming, backups and ensure accurate guest information.
• Compile weekly performance indicators and report on content metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Marketing or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in marketing, media, communications or content creation.
• Portfolio of edited long‑form video.

Required skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.
• Camera operation, microphone level control and basic three‑point lighting.
• Vertical short‑form video editing with captions.
• Publishing to YouTube, LinkedIn and Instagram with full metadata and scheduling.
• Graphic production using established brand templates.
• Adobe After Effects (advantage).
