Physician Assistant

About the role

The Physician Assistant will join Lod Medical & Fertility Center in Accra, providing direct support to physicians in delivering comprehensive medical and fertility services. Working full‑time on‑site, you will engage with patients throughout their care journey, from initial consultation to follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, obtain medical histories and perform physical examinations.
• Order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests under physician supervision.
• Assist physicians in developing and implementing treatment and fertility plans.
• Provide patient education on health conditions, fertility options, medications and follow‑up care.
• Document all patient encounters accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with nurses, laboratory staff and administrative teams to coordinate care and ensure compliance with clinic protocols and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Certified Physician Assistant with current registration or eligibility to practice in Ghana.
• Experience in general medicine, reproductive health or fertility care, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Strong clinical assessment abilities, including history taking, physical examination and diagnostic interpretation.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient‑centred approach.
• Commitment to confidentiality, ethical practice and continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic or paper‑based health documentation systems (EHR).
