About the role
The Renal Technician will support the newly opening Bank Hospital in Accra by assembling, operating, and maintaining dialysis equipment while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout treatment.
Key responsibilities
- Assemble and test dialysis machines to guarantee proper performance.
- Monitor patients during dialysis, adjust fluid removal rates, and respond to emergencies.
- Administer local anaesthesia and guide patients through the dialysis process.
- Collaborate with nurses and doctors to deliver coordinated care.
- Sterilize all operating equipment before each use and maintain strict cleanliness standards.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in dialysis/nephrology technology and registration with the Allied Health Professionals Council.
- Relevant clinical experience with a strong dedication to patient care.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Required skills
- Dialysis machine assembly and operation.
