Sales Executive

About the role

The Sales Executive will act as the primary point of contact for guests and partners, using Marriott’s sales techniques to maximise revenue while preserving guest loyalty. The role combines front‑office guest interaction, reservation handling and support for the Sales & Marketing team in a fast‑paced hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Contact appropriate individuals or departments to resolve guest calls, requests or problems.
• Apply up‑selling techniques and offer complimentary gifts such as reward points, show tickets or gift certificates.
• Process reservation requests, changes, cancellations and Marriott Rewards redemptions via phone, fax or mail, entering data into the hotel’s reservation system.
• Perform general office duties for Sales & Marketing, including filing, emailing, typing and faxing.
• Support management by assisting in employee training, monitoring performance and ensuring adherence to company policies and brand standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of relevant sales or customer‑service experience.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Strong verbal communication skills and professional appearance.
