Sales Manager - West Africa (Ghana)

About the role

An international client is hiring a Sales Manager through a recruiter to develop and expand its business across West Africa, with a primary focus on Ghana. The position is based in Accra, Ghana, on site, and suits a hands-on sales professional with experience in market development, customer acquisition and distributor/channel management in African markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for Ghana and other West African markets.
• Identify and acquire new customers, distributors and business partners.
• Build and manage local sales channels to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Conduct market research to identify new business and product opportunities.
• Develop pricing, sales and promotional strategies based on local market conditions.
• Strengthen brand presence and expand market share.
• Work closely with headquarters on business planning and sales performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development or international sales.
• Proven experience in new market development and customer acquisition.
• Experience in Ghana or other African markets is highly preferred.
• Fluent English for business communication.
• Willingness to travel for business across the region.
