Sales Specialist – Ceramics & Building Materials

About the role
We are looking for a dynamic Sales Specialist to drive growth for our ceramics and building‑materials portfolio in the Kumasi and Tema regions. Reporting to the District Sales Manager, you will work closely with the sales team to implement strategies, build customer relationships and achieve sales targets.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and promotional strategies to inform sales decisions.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits to customers, conducting product showcases and negotiations.
- Develop and execute strategic sales techniques and promotional plans tailored to the local market.
- Ensure timely collection of sales payments and maintain accurate customer profiles.
- Prepare regular sales reports, performance metrics and insights for management review.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors and suppliers.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience, preferably in the ceramics or building‑materials industry.
- Proven B2B sales experience working with retailers and distributors.
- Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Team‑oriented mindset with collaborative skills.
- Multilingual abilities (English, Twi, Ewe) are a plus.
