Student Part-time Client Acquisition Assistant

About the role

FORIVON is seeking a motivated university student to join its team as a Client Acquisition Assistant. This part‑time, field‑oriented position involves three full days of work each week, during which you will actively prospect and engage potential waste‑collection clients across Accra and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target potential clients such as offices, shops, restaurants, apartments, schools and households within assigned zones.
• Conduct physical visits to introduce FORIVON’s waste‑collection services.
• Convert prospects into paying customers and maintain accurate contact records.
• Prepare a weekly report summarising visits, leads, quotations, follow‑ups and new clients acquired.
• Follow up with newly acquired clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Support other reasonable business‑development and client‑support activities as required.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a university, college or recognised tertiary institution.
• Available for at least three full days per week without lecture commitments.
• Preferably residing near Legon, Airport, La, Achimota, Dzorwulu, Abelemkpe, Tesano or nearby areas.
• Confident in approaching and speaking with new people.
• Willing to conduct physical visits to businesses and households.
• Proactive, responsible and comfortable working independently.
• Interest in gaining practical experience in business development, sales, marketing or entrepreneurship.

Required skills

What we offer

• Monthly pay of GH₵500‑800.
• Transport allowance of GH₵200 per month.
• Three full days of onsite work per week.
• Hands‑on experience in sales, client acquisition and business development.
