Teacher positions – Westfield International School

About the role

Westfield International School is seeking qualified teachers to join its team for the September 2012 intake. Positions are available at two campuses: Westfield School – SW McCarthy Hill (covering preschool through junior high) and Tweenies School – East Airport (preschool only). Candidates should indicate their preferred location when applying.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess lessons aligned with the school curriculum for the assigned grade levels.
• Maintain a safe and engaging classroom environment that supports student learning and well‑being.
• Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and adapt instructional strategies as needed.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and school events.
• Participate in professional development sessions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification appropriate for the intended grade levels.
• Experience or training in teaching preschool and/or junior high students.
• Availability to start in September 2012; applications close on 7 August 2012.
