Volunteer Marketing Team Member

About the role

Ghana Food Festival is seeking proactive volunteers to join its marketing team for the GFF Diaspora Experience 2026. The role supports promotion and audience engagement leading up to the event on 19 December 2026, primarily working remotely with occasional on‑site support in Accra.

Key responsibilities

• Create and share promotional content across social media and digital platforms.
• Promote event registration and free passes through personal, professional and community networks.
• Identify and engage potential attendees and relevant communities.
• Support outreach to organisations, groups and networks interested in the event.
• Help generate awareness and engagement around GFF Diaspora Experience 2026.
• Assist with guest engagement and other marketing activities on event day as needed.

Required profile

• Interest or experience in marketing, PR, communications, events or content creation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using social media and digital platforms.
• Proactive, creative and reliable.
• Able to engage people and communities.
• Relevant experience is an added advantage.
