About the role
The University is seeking an Assistant Registrar to support the Registrar in managing the institution's administrative, secretarial, and human‑resource functions. This position is based at the main campus near Sumbrungu, Bolgatanga, and will play a key role in ensuring smooth university operations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Registrar with day‑to‑day administrative tasks and record‑keeping.
- Provide secretarial support, including drafting correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining files.
- Support human‑resource development and management activities across the university.
- Help coordinate academic and non‑academic services to meet institutional deadlines.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with university policies.
Required profile
- Master’s degree, preferably in Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years post‑qualification experience as a Junior Assistant Registrar or in a comparable university role.
- At least four (4) years of overall professional experience.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
