Associate Professor – Faculty of Computing and Information Systems

About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) invites applications for the rank of Associate Professor within its Faculty of Computing and Information Systems. The position is open to candidates who wish to contribute to teaching, research, and community service in one of the listed departments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures and tutorials.
• Supervise student research projects, theses, and dissertations.
• Conduct scholarly research and publish in recognized journals.
• Participate in departmental and university committees, community outreach, and faculty development activities.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Mobile and Pervasive Computing).
• Minimum four years of experience as a Senior Lecturer at a recognized university.
• At least ten publications in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Three professional referees willing to provide references.
