Associate Professor – Faculty of Engineering

About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) invites applications for the rank of Associate Professor within its Faculty of Engineering. The position is open to candidates in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics & Statistics.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching and supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Conduct and publish research in reputable journals.
• Engage in community service and contribute to faculty development initiatives.
• Participate in academic committees and university governance.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant engineering or mathematical discipline.
• Appointment as Associate Professor at a recognized university, or a minimum of four years as Senior Lecturer with at least ten peer‑reviewed publications.
• Evidence of scholarly impact and academic leadership.
• Three professional referees willing to provide references.
