Business Development Manager – Premium Furniture & Interior Design

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth and expand market presence for a premium furniture and interior design firm. Working closely with architects, developers and private clients, you will turn design concepts into signed contracts across residential, hospitality and corporate projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in interior projects and convert leads into custom furniture contracts.
• Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets for furniture and design services.
• Build and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, property developers and private clients from concept to delivery.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and follow‑up communications.
• Represent the firm at design fairs, exhibitions and networking events.
• Research market trends in Ghana and West Africa, analyse competitors and propose differentiation strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of sales or business development experience in interior design, real estate, construction or related high‑end product sectors.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Self‑driven, creative and commercially minded.
• Good understanding of Accra’s real‑estate and design ecosystem is an advantage.
